Program Description:

How To Organize and Downsize Your Home is a teaching seminar on the subject of home organizing and downsizing your home for a move. The presentation includes PowerPoint, visual aids, and take-home literature.

The presentation begins with a discussion on the psychological aspects of letting go of things and offers in-depth insight on how to change your thinking about unnecessary possessions. The highlights include the top things you need to do before you downsize. Attendees will learn a detailed 3-part method that I devised to organize any household inventory. Throughout the seminar, PowerPoint slides display so attendees can take good notes.

This step-by-step home organizational workshop teaches:

-How to enter into any home organization project without feeling overwhelmed
-How to replace your indecision with focus when downsizing
-How to arrange your household items to promote long-term order
-How to approach a home downsizing project well before you move
-How to go about decluttering anything using a 3-part strategy

The purpose of this presentation is to help minimize people’s stress caused by clutter and overall disorganization in their homes. Attendees will gain skills and confidence to handle any downsizing or home organizing projects.
